Running a league
From opening to settlement, the app takes over what the team manager used to do by hand.
01Opening

Pick the sport, the number of teams, the format, the venue and the dates; on the last step set the entry fee and the prize split, and sign-ups open.
- Turn the paid-league switch off and the league runs with no entry fee
- Prize money is written as a percentage for 1st, 2nd and 3rd
- League notices are written by the organizer alone and read by everyone in the entered teams
02Entries and payment
The captain applies and pays the entry fee, and the entry is confirmed. In a paid league only teams that have paid go into the fixtures and the table.
- Entry fee, operating fee and prize percentages can only be edited before the first payment
- A league that runs on approval also needs the organizer's approval before a team is scheduled
03Matches and results

Schedule alerts and line-ups, and a scoreboard at the venue. Both teams report the result, it is confirmed when the two agree, and a mismatch goes to the dispute process.
- Golf is confirmed with a photo of the scorecard
- Only confirmed matches reach the table
04Settlement
When the season ends, the entry fees less the operating fee the organizer set are the prize pool. The prizes can never add up to more than that pool.
- The 1st, 2nd and 3rd percentages cannot add up to more than 100%
05Awards
Ending the season settles the top scorer, the top assister, the MVP and the best team from that season's record. League badges the organizer awarded during the season stay alongside them as special awards.
- Equal records share the same place
- Awards are settled once, when the season is ended
06Guests

On short-handed days you post the area, the time, the position and the skill you need. The rating left after the match is what tells you whether to call them again.
- The skill requirement is one of four bands: Iron · Bronze–Silver · Gold–Platinum · Diamond and above
- Matches played as a guest count toward the career totals on your profile
07Team management

It is teams that enter a league. The roster, the recurring schedule, dues and scrims run on the team screens whether or not there is a league, and one team plays several sports at once.
More on team management07Tiers
A skill score that moves with match results decides the tier. Ten steps from Iron to Challenger, each split into five divisions.
Tiers are set by match records alone. Recommendations and self-reports do not raise them.

A league opens in one of the first three formats — round-robin, groups plus knockout, or knockout. The recommended format differs by sport, and scrims are played inside a team.
Round-robin
Every team plays every other once. The table is ordered by points, then goal difference, then goals scored.
Groups + knockout
Group play thins the field, then the group standings seed the knockout bracket.
Knockout
A single-elimination bracket. Someone has to go through, so a drawn result is not accepted.
Scrim
An in-house match with the squad split into sides. Wins, draws and losses stand, and personal records go into a separate scrim ledger.
